blog 003: q1 recap

I started this year on a different foot than normal. If you haven’t read my last post, you have no idea what I’m talking about and what is wrong with you? Kidding. You can read it here. Quick recap, I didn’t set my 2023 goals or resolutions until about 3 days ago.

For me, it’s hard to believe we are already starting Q2 as of today. I can’t believe I lived three months with no written goals or asperations. Everything was stored in my head, and to be honest, that was overwhelming for me.

Q1 was full of light travel. I had some decent breaks in between trips which I am so, so thankful for. I had some down time to get inspired on the direction I want my Etsy shop to go and get creative with it. I started some online courses, and FINALLY launched this site, that I originally started in the spring of 2017 and never "launched".

Q1 Travel Recap:

Huntington Beach, California | traveled with Shannon + John H.

Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ | traveled with Connor + Parker with John making an appearance

Orlando, FL | traveled with Rileigh

Cancun, MX | traveled with Kira

Boston, MA | solo

Phoenix, AZ (Super Bowl) | Shannon, Meg, Jossie, Wesley, Justen, Paige, Lindsey, John

Jacksonville/Orlando, FL | solo, met with Macey in Orlando

Maui, HI | Justen, Meg, Jossie, Shannon, Kristen, Teryn, Wesley, Jesus, Chase, Inge, Nicole

Palm Springs, CA > Chicago, IL | solo, met with Jack in Chicago

Orlando, FL | Jossie, Justen, Macey, Kira, Connor

Cancun, MX | Lindsey

Random Q1 Fast Facts:

Looking Ahead: Q2

This is traditionally our busiest quarter of the year. Last year, with only two event associates, it was super overwhelming being a professional globetrotter, coordinating events, and still finding time for myself. Luckily, this year we have the help of 8 event associates, so that should lighten the travel load a little bit. As our calendar continues to fill up, here are my focuses for Q2.

+ work ahead

+ make time for myself - fueling my body properly, getting outside, being active, getting quality rest

+ connect with friends, co-workers, and acquaintances I haven't made time for

+ getting creative in my spare time

Cheers to Q2!

xx,

Hello Hello. I mentioned in a previous blog that I faced the worst rejection careerwise, twice this year, actually. Both by companys/instiutions that I thought would never ghost me at the least. Oh, b

blog 014: turning 28 & living like a sunflower

The blog has taken a back seat, and truly, I've missed it. I'll get it together before 2024 starts. I'm 28 now. That sounds so wild to say (or rather, type). I'm not sure who 'they' is, but they say o
