blog 010: green juice recipe

If you have been following along on this green juice escapade, I'm sure this is the moment you've been waiting for.

THE. Green. Juice. Recipe.

The first green juice I made, I absolutely hated. It was truly vomit worthy. I was determined to be a green juice girly, so I improved the recipe and now I genuinely love it.

I refuse to let summer end before I share this, so let's get into it, yuh.

I'm going to preface this by saying, I don't have a juicer. I use a blender, but if you're fancy and rich, please use your juicer so I can dream about being like you one day.

what you need

1 cucumber

3 romaine lettuce hearts

5 apples (peeled)

1-2 lemons

1L coconut water

juice the juice

Rinse all the veggies/fruit. Chop the cucumber and lettuce. Chop and peel the apples. Add all the ingredients into the blender (or juicer) and blend. Strain and blend again if needed. I add more coconut water as needed.

Pour into sealable bottles or juice jar. Store in refrigerator.

I drink this each morning on an empty stomach. It promotes maximum absorption of nutrients.
